Display network?
Focus your ads on your customers’ profiles and search for them on the Web thanks to Display: everyone knows Adwords which appears in Google search results when the Internet user has entered keywords purchased at auction; however fewer know how to use the Display network. The Display Network is made up of thousands of websites; BBC.co.uk, twitter.com, youtube.com are part of it but also thousands of small sites, blogs, news portals, forums. These sites have defined advertising areas which are automatically managed by Google. It is then easy to place your advertisement on these sites. What’s more interesting is to target precisely the people who will see the ad. Google Display indeed offers this possibility.
What is Remarketing?
Use Remarketing too! Remarketing is a fundamental concept of E-Marketing. This involves showing advertising to people who have visited your website. Google allows you to define remarketing lists (we often make a list by product or service universe of our website). Once the list is defined, Google asks you to put a marker on your website. It is this marker that will add a cookie on the visitor’s machine, which will then identify them wherever they are on the Web. You can then imagine advertisements that will appear on Display Network sites only to people recognized as former visitors to your site.
